Julián López Murcia is the founding Director of
Nalanda Analytica, a consultancy based in Bogotá, Colombia, specialising in regulatory analysis, public law, and institutional design for the water, sanitation, and energy sectors across Latin America. A significant part of his work focuses on water security — spanning tariff regulation, governance reform, and subnational public investment — and he carries out this work both through the firm and as a consultant to international organisations including the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB/BID), and others.
