Usman Nazir

Dr. Usman Nazir is a Postdoctoral Data Scientist in Climate and Health Analytics at the University of Oxford, working at the intersection of Earth observation, AI, and environmental sustainability. His research focuses on satellite data and machine learning to understand climate-sensitive risks, including water-related hazards such as flooding, environmental exposure, and their impacts on population health. He has contributed to projects on flood impact assessment, infrastructure and population exposure mapping, and socio-environmental vulnerability analysis using remote sensing.
